Based on your comments and evaluations, the prestige has been recognized, work and dedication of the restaurants that have succeeded the most in Spain during this difficult year.
To make this list, TheFork has taken into account different criteria such as the grades obtained by the restaurants during this 2020, the volume of views during this year, visits to the restaurant file and reservations generated. In this way, the TOP100 restaurants are also part of the selection INSIDER ElTenedor, where the best restaurants of the moment stand out, those who have stood out for something special, including also those awarded by the MICHELIN Guide in Spain.
This year has been The Jewish House the one that heads the list of the TOP100 of ElTenedor, presented by American Express. A restaurant located in an old 19th century Indian house in Santander and run by the Catalan chef Sergio Bastard. Your kitchen, recognized by the MICHELIN Guide with the distinction "MICHELIN Plate: a quality kitchen ", mix originality and tradition in equal parts, with an established technique and using local Cantabrian products as protagonists of all its elaborations. A set of ingredients that have placed it as the favorite of the Spanish of the 2020.

Practically the entire Spanish geography is represented in this ranking, although with special protagonism of the Community of Madrid that has managed to include 18 of its restaurants on this list, 13 of them located in the interior of Madrid capital. Among the restaurants that top the list of this region are Horcher (12) Y Madrid home by Martin Berasategui (22).
Nevertheless, It is the Cantabrian community that has two of the favorite restaurants of the year: Jewish house (1) Y Gazebo Amos by Jesús Sánchez (2), that repeats position also this year. Other restaurants that remain in the Top10 of the 2020 son El Bohio (4), led by Pepe Rodríguez, winner of the last edition of the Top100 of ElTenedor, Y Martin Berasategui (6), which topped the list in 2018.
