The next Friday 21 October 2016 will take place at 21:00h at the Grand Clubhouse (street Pinar 18, Madrid) a charity cocktail to collaborate with on the health project carried out, a Turkana, Kenya, the Emalaikat Foundation and the Missionary Community of Saint Apostle (MSCPA).
Specifically, our contribution will allow them to cover a mobile clinic for an entire year, to help care for many people and save more than one life.
Because Turkana, which they are mostly a tribe of nomadic herders, They live in a situation of extreme poverty and extremely fragile economy, not only by unfavorable weather conditions (it rains only once a year and temperatures are between 24 Y 38 degrees), but also by the isolation and the almost total absence of any kind of infrastructure such as roads, drinking water, health system and transport.
Because, the work of missionaries has much value MSCPA, because they have managed to establish a network of primary care centers: five clinics that provide permanent access to medical care.
A) Yes, thanks to mobile clinics, they reach 21 villages in the region, They cater to 81 communities and maintain 12 nutritional units.
