  1. Hello Jose,

I really liked your article, although there are some aspects with which I do not agree.

I find it very useful because a large part of the hospitality staff is older than this generation., and it is true that they begin to have bosses of these ages, full of energy because they start their professional career.

What I disagree with is generalizing both. At the end, millennials are (we are) people, each one has its personality and character, and not everyone likes to be at “cannon foot” nor do they get along well with everyone. Depends on the person.

I completely agree that they don't care as much about sales as they do about people. I think that, taking one more step, this is due to the crisis that they have lived since children. Because of her, they have realized better than their parents that sales are people. That is to say, if people are happy, will buy more. So, I think it is much easier for them to sense that if the customers are not happy, they won't sell. They don't make this differentiation that has been done since the economic boom.

In short, it is very good that they are seeing each other “bosses” Y “jefitas” younger people who can introduce news to the business. And of course it is not easy for those who are older than him to follow his criteria and implementations, Nor is it easy for the millionaire to tell those who have much more work experience what to do..

There we are, but we will get over it 😉

      Hello Ana!
Before anything, thank you for your comment and tell you that, of course we will get over it! Regarding the topic of generalizing, you're right, in this way it is normal to fall into error because each person is different.

    regards.
